Bee Square is a video game development studio located in the heart of Barcelona. Our aim is to create fun and innovative mobile games for Mid Core audiences. To help us achieve this goal, we are currently looking for Quality Assurance Testers.
As a tester, you will work side by side with the development team. It will be your responsibility to review our games in depth and detect any issues that could affect the quality of our products or the players game experience.
Requisitos mínimos:
Required skills:
-Attention to detail and high quality standards
-Analytical and methodical
-Experience with video game QA (at least one live title)
-Proficient in manual testing, migrations, regressions, versión compatibility.
Experience with agile development and its iterative workflow
-Self motivator, able to deal with repetitive tasks
-Self driven, ability to set up and control your own workflow
-Able to work in a multicultural team
-Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
-Player-focused
-Passion for video games (especially Mid to hardcore)
-Interest in new technologies
-A technical background and basic coding skills would be a very nice plus
-Ability to read and understand different kinds of analytics
Responsabilidades:
Your tasks:
-Set up the bug tracker and maintain the bug database
-Detect possible risks and create test plans based on upcoming design specs
-Test the game throughout the entire development process
-Identify quality and usability issues
-Write clear and concise bug reports for the dev team
-Track bugs and verify they are properly fixed
-Ensure efficient test coverage of all gameplay escenarios, including Edge cases
-Check all variables outside of the gameplay logic (hardware, OS, connectivity, interactions with other apps…)
-Take full ownership over the quality standards of the project
-Monitor player-reported bugs and be able to track the exact reproduction steps
-Come up with creative solutions for more effective testing processes
