Limitless Games is a AAA video game studio in Barcelona. The studio is currently in the process of developing a new game. The game is a COOP Action RPG set in a fantasy/Sci-fi universe.
We are looking for a talented Real Time Visual Effect Artist to be part of our VFX team. The VFX Artist will work in coordination with the Art Lead and Game Director to create Visual Effect that will help the player decipher and navigate the game in a satisfying manner.
Please note that this position is not a remote role. You will be required to work onsite.
Please note that this job position is only available if you are an EU citizen or have a valid work permit to work in Spain.
Requisitos mínimos:
– Prior experience in the video game industry as a VFX artist.
– Proficiency in creating high quality FX using Blender, Photoshop, Niagara or equivalent tools.
– Awareness of technical limitation due to game engines.
– Communication and organizational skills.
– Experience working with Unreal Engine 4.
– Proficient at communicating VFX through concept and mockup.
– Experience with FumeFX, RealFlow, Niagara, Houdini etc. is a plus.
– Artistic proficiency and 2D skills are also a plus.
– Proficient in written and spoken English.
Responsabilidades:
– Work closely with other VFX team members to produce quality real-time VFX in Unreal Engine 4.
– Be able to adapt to the style of the game (non realistic) and follow art direction.
– Work in coordination with other departments to create stunning visual effects that support gameplay, story and artistic direction.
– Optimise VFX to run within performance limitation.
– Support programming team on the effect integration and troubleshooting.
