We are looking for a Mid-level or Senior 3D Artist to join our Mediatonic studio in Madrid to lead the art team we are putting together and help us succed in our current and future challenges.
You are an experienced 3D artist with at least 4-5 years of experience develooping video games. You are proficient with Unity, passionate for 3D Art and would like to help us take the team to the next level.

> What we are looking for.
At least 4 years of video game development experience.
Comprehensive portfolio showing wonderful examples of your craft.
Support full 3D pipelines from modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering; understanding of how to deliver these for a real-time environment.
Expert understanding of industry modelling and texturing tools and solid ability to create original, complex 3D assets for rigged animation.
Proficiency with Unity.
A strong level of spoken and written English to communicate with the London team.

A clear understanding of the particular challenges in game development, such as art workflow, performance optimisations, and supporting múltiple platforms.
Solid understanding of lighting and some knowledge of post-processing techniques and Lens effects.
Experience on múltiple games and ability to work across varied art styles.
Understands the principales of photography and PBR.
Experience in following and guiding others on best practices, suggesting and maintaining pipelines, re-use, and optimisations.
Experience in planning and estimating/scheduling.
Experience in leading art teams and mentoring more junior team members.

Just so you have an idea of what it is like to work with us.
We like Agile and usually do Scrum. We are used to planning ahead and have a clear view of milestones. We tend do two wek sprints and always like to have a short daily standup for all the team to attend. Sprint plannings, backlog assignments, retrospectives, thats the usual deal.
We work in small and ambitious teams, and we strive for minimal hierarchy. Our philosophy is open and informal whilst also being really hard-working. Youll be the real lead of your own tasks, but you will always have the support of your teammates. We encourage people to share their questions and expertise.
We want you to met your fellow colleagues working in London and/or Brighton. We will probably set up a trip for you to go there and get to know the rest of the Mediatonic crew in person. Its really fun. Really.
We spend lunchtimes playing on our Nintendo Switch (more consoles coming son) our awesome game arcade machine, or maybe a ping pong or fosball match. We also like to get together from time to time. Sometimes its just a ber after work, but we also organise bigger stuf like monthly team lunches and company-wide events such as gamejams or bi-annual parties.
We share what we do with the rest of the company. We are as transparent and communicative as possible when it comes to the projects updates and the company roadmaps and plans.
