We are looking for a Senior or Mid-level UI Artist to join our Mediatonic studio in Madrid to work in several projects like Gears (of War) POP!, PC Building Simulator and more.
You are an experienced UI artist with at least 2-3 years of experience developing video games. You are capable of illustrating UI components in a broad range of styles, skilled in UX principales and the different needs of a variety of platforms including mobile, PC/Steam and consoles. Ideally you are able to animate to your UI designs and implement all your work in Unity or another tool.

Requisitos mínimos:
-2+ years commercial experience in the games industry working on UI
-A strong portfolio of User Interface and Application designs (ideally for mobile or console games)
-Can take on entire Game UI Design, UX principales and motion design
-Capable of Illustrating UI components such as icons and assets
-Advanced skills in design software such as Photoshop Illustrator
-Experienced with Unity or other real time engines or similar UI implementation tools.
A passion for excellence in interfaz design and usability
-A strong level of spoken and written English to communicate with our UK teams.

Just so you have an idea of what it is like to work with us…
We like Agile and usually do Scrum. We are used to planning ahead and have a clear view of milestones. We tend do two week sprints and always like to have a short daily standup for all the team to attend. Sprint plannings, backlog assignments, retrospectives… thats the usual deal.
We work in small and ambitious teams, and we strive for minimal hierarchy. Our philosophy is open and informal whilst also being really hard-working. Youll be the real lead of your own tasks, but you will always have the support of your teammates. We encourage people to share their questions and expertise.
We want you to meet your fellow colleagues working in London and/or Brighton. We will probably set up a trip for you to go there and get to know the rest of the Mediatonic crew in person. Its really fun. Really.
We spend lunchtimes playing on our Nintendo Switch (more consoles coming soon) our awesome game arcade machine, or maybe a ping pong or foosball match. We also like to get together from time to time. Sometimes its just a beer after work, but we also organise bigger stuff like monthly team lunches and company-wide events such as gamejams or bi-annual parties.
We share what we do with the rest of the company. We are as transparent and communicative as possible when it comes to the projects updates and the company roadmaps and plans.
