Summary.
We are seking a full-time in-house backend developer to join our development team in Spain. This person will be helping us build highly-available backend platform architecture and design, implement and test new features.
Requisitos mínimos:
Required Qualifications.
Ability to communicate efectively and work as part of a team
Proven experience building software with Unix shell scripting and Python
Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle
God understanding of cloud infrastructures
Ability to quickly find creative solutions to dificult problems
Ability to write well documented code/scripts and maintain the existing code-base
Strong focus on high-performance and optimization
Strong attention to detail, rigorous in self-testing code and delivering high quality work
Analytical thinker, capable of translating business requirements into application architecture
Highly motivated, self-starter
Fluent english speaker.
Requisitos deseados:
Preferred Qualifications.
BS/MS degre in Computer Science, Enginering, related degre, or relevant profesional experience
2+ yearsexperience in development
Experience with scripting languages: Unix shell and Python preferred
Experience with using cloud infrastructure
Knowledge of video processes (encoding, decoding, streaming) a big plus
Familiarity working in a scrum/agile environment.
Responsabilidades:
Responsibilities.
Work closely with a dedicated team to develop 360 video focused applications
Develop new features, reusable components, and documentation as requested by the team lead
Participate in team cross training, code reviews, and mentoring of more junior developers
Cordinate with your team to define development timeframes, dependencies, and áreas of risk to be considered in project planning
Prototype ideas into self-contained demos.
